As we move through the month of June, I want to encourage you to take a mid-year assessment of where you are. As of June 15, 2022 we are 166 days into the year while 199 days remain.
If you haven’t already, now is a good time to get serious about identifying and accomplishing strong, tangible personal goals for the remaining 199 days of 2022.
Get to a quiet place, turn off your phone and spend some time in thought about what you want to accomplish by December 31st. Writing down your goals and reviewing them regularly are the best way to keep you on track. You already know this; the question is are you doing it? If the year ended today, would it be a successful year for you?
Review the following questions and commit to taking control of the remainder of this year.
- What have you accomplished so far this year of which you are proud? Write down these accomplishments and reflect.
- Do you have specific short term and long-term goals identified for your physical health, financial health, profession/career, and your personal relationships?
- What MAJOR goal must you accomplish over the next “199”?
- Are you currently learning or practicing a second language? (Russian, Mandarin, Spanish, or American Sign Language are all strong considerations).
- Are you drinking enough water and getting enough sleep? Drinking water and getting enough sleep will make you bullet proof.
You have to know where you are in order to get better. This is not a rehearsal; life is happening right now!
