Rory Wells is a consultant, licensed attorney and public speaker who resides in Ocean County, NJ. Prior to founding Rory Wells Strategies Inc. He practiced law with his firm RJW Wells Legal Group LLC. providing professional legal services throughout Ocean County and central New Jersey.
Before entering private practice and starting his consulting firm, Rory was employed as an Assistant Prosecutor with the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office for nearly thirteen years. Rory handled hundreds of legal cases while serving the citizens of Ocean County. One of his additional primary duties while with the Prosecutor’s Office was to provide legal training to recruits at the Ocean County Police Academy where he trained hundreds of police officers on the criminal code and other legal topics. He also acted in the role of Community Relations Officer for the office and has spoken to thousands of people including the New Jersey National Guard, numerous law enforcement agencies, community groups, churches, educators and young people of all ages in hundreds of school assemblies. Rory often speaks in a powerful manner that leaves a lasting impression on those in the audience.
Rory is active in his local community serving on the Ocean County Business Development and Tourism Council as well as the Manchester Township Planning Board. He served as an officer in the United States Marine Corps before attending Regent University School of Law in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Prior to serving his country as a Marine he graduated Magna Cum Laude from John Jay College of Criminal Justice, New York, NY. He has appeared as a guest on Comcast Newsmakers and local tv/radio on multiple occasions.
